What is the Civil Service?
The Civil Service is responsible for both formulating central government policy and then implementing it by providing services direct to the public. This includes healthcare services, transport, education and much more. There are currently 440,000 civil servants from diverse backgrounds across a huge range of departments and agencies.
What is the Civil Service Fast Stream?
