EN Societies are student-led and dedicated to progressing the values of Leadership, Diversity and Employability on campus. Through our events and programmes, we aim to inspire our members to raise their aspirations and reach their full potential regardless of ethnicity, gender or background.
We aim to achieve this by offering our members:
o EXCLUSIVE networking opportunities
o Skills development workshops
o Mentoring opportunities
o Community outreach projects
o Diversity and inclusion events
We promote the engagement of all our members. We will ensure there are opportunities for members to be proactive in order to enhance their EMPLOYABILITY. We are dedicated to being LEADERS within the community through participation in our community action projects. Through our focus on DIVERSITY, we aim to address the issue of under-representation of ethnic minorities, women and disability students in various industries.”
My time at Elevation Networks was quite inspirational. It was my first taste of office life and an experience that has caused me to change my perception of what young people can achieve. Being around young people who have achieved so much has motivated me to believe in my own ability and take active steps to further myself rather than sitting back and waiting for opportunities to fall on my lap! The internship actually required me to do real work (rather than menial tasks) where I was given real responsibilities. I was able to demonstrate skills and build my confidence and I feel I’m much better prepared for the world of work than before.
