Job Title: Fundraising and Partnerships Officer
Job Type: Internship, Part-time, 8 weeks (with possibility of extension into a full-time paid role)
Start Date: Monday 9 July 2012
Job description: Elevation Networks is offering an internship to any student who is interested in gaining a well-rounded experience. You will have a range of task from applying for funding to producing the bi-weekly newsletter. The internship is a chance for you to work on a range of projects and put your knowledge and skills to test in a fast paced environment.
Intern responsibilities will include:
- Planning, developing and implementing PR strategies
- Maintaining and updating information on the EN website
- Writing and editing case studies, speeches and articles
- Liaising with students unions and other student groups for the recruitment of the Student Leadership Development Programme (SLDP)
- Take notes during team and trustees meetings
- Ensuring the relevant databases are up-to-date, accurate and consists of the relevant information
- General administrative work
- Reporting regularly on progress to supervisor
Requirements/Skills:
- Passionate, enthusiastic and innovative
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Great administrative skills and ability to record information accurately
- Ability to work accurately, with attention to detail
- Familiarity with business software such as Microsoft Office
- Flexible approach to work
- Uses own initiative and can work independently
- Very good organisation skills
