This programme is funded by Trust For London who also run  Moving On Up – a programme that improves employment rates for young black men in London.

Moving on Up is a collaborative initiative between The Trust for London, the City of London Corporation’s charity, City Bridge Trust, and the Black Training and Enterprise Group (BTEG). This Initiative aims to increase the employment rates of young black men in London over the next two years (2015-17) by funding work that will improve the support offered to them and to increase their pathways into employment, and to undertake policy influencing work to promote greater action to address the issue.

The target group is young people aged 16-24 who are from black British, black African, black Caribbean and mixed black ethnic groups who are actively seeking work.

Case Study

Isaac Marfo –  London 360* Participant
Isaac is a young man from haringey who is of African and Caribbean heritage. He had a criminal record and was finding it difficult to get into suitable employment. He had lots of experience as a coach, working in schools and also running training session for young people at Tottenham Hotspurs. He is a very confident young man, but the London 360* programme helped him to know how to present himself well and also answer questions in a much more structured manner, which he was lacking. Upon completion of the programme, we have put him in contact with a link who is supporting him to get his FA badges and also to become an official scout for football clubs, as this is what he has a passion for.
