Training Programmes

We offer a range of programmes for young people to help them develop transferable skills and become more employable.

National Citizen Service (NCS)

National Citizen Service (NCS) supports the Government’s vision for building a Big Society. It will act as a gateway to the Big Society for many young people by supporting them to develop the skills and attitudes they need to become more engaged with their communities and become active and responsible citizens. NCS will make a positive contribution to local communities, requiring close working with schools, local authorities, businesses and other neighbourhood groups to create a more cohesive, responsible and engaged society.

Elevate Your Future (EYF)

Elevate Your Future (EYF) projects are designed to inform students about routes into education and employment,
with an emphasis on developing transferable skills in order to raise attainment as well as the young person’s career and educational aspirations. The EYF project targets at young people aged 14-19.

By working in partnership with businesses and organisations from different industries the projects
bridge the gap between school students, higher education and corporate industries.

CSR – Get NEETs into work

These programmes are aimed at young people aged 18-24 that are not in employment, education or training (NEETs). The programmes run in a three month cycle, with the first month focused on the participants receiving employability training and peer mentorship, this is followed by a month of volunteering and work experience in the local community. By partnering up with us we would hope to tackle youth unemployment and break the NEET cycle, we aim to effectively train young people equipping them with both employability skills and work experience. This is also an excellent opportunity to involve employees as mentors on the programme.
